Thesis & Reports
A Study on Union and Intersection of Subspaces and its Application to Quantum Communication
Master's Thesis · Supervised by Dr. Naqueeb Ahmad Warsi
Submitted to Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata (Roll No. CS2103). In classical information theory, typical set operations are standardly used to analyze various problems. In quantum information theory, constructing a POVM for typical subspace intersections and unions is challenging. This thesis explores this issue and builds a novel notion of the intersection of subspaces with applications to classical–quantum communication.
Expressibility and Entangling Capability in Noisy Parameterized Quantum Circuits
Minor Project Report · Supervised by Dr. Susmita Sur-Kolay
Submitted to Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. A parameterized quantum circuit (PQC) is crucial for Hybrid Quantum Classical (HQC) Algorithms. Two key metrics, Expressibility and Entangling Capability, evaluate PQC effectiveness. Examined metric trends across 19 PQCs for 4 qubits under varied noise models.
